- Am I betting real money?
- For legal reasons we can't allow you to wager against each other with real money. This is for entertainment purposes only – we wish though.
- Is this legal?
- Fur sure. Fantasy Bookies is for entertainment purposes only. You only get fantasy dollars to compete with, which are worth nothing. We can't even give out prizes. You're competing with buddies for bragging rights.
- How do bookies get games?

Games are assigned randomly to members of the league. If your league has more players than the number of games on a given day some players won't get games. It's all random though so it evens out.
Football games are assigned to bookies on Tuesday. Games for the daily sports are assigned one day in advance. The bookie can set the lines whenever they want.
- If I'm in a 10 person league and play NCAA won't I get assigned like 15 games?
- Potentially, but it's up to your league. You have the option to adjust the max number of games that can be assigned to each bookie. Also try a conference league to limit the number of games and just play with your school and your rivals.
- Do I have to set the line?
- Yes. If a bookie doesn’t set a line our system automatically assigns the PinnacleSports.com suggested line 12 hours before game time. Football lines are assigned 48 hours prior to game time. If the bookie sets a single line the system will no longer assign a line to that game.
- Do I have to bet?
- No, but you should because if you don't play, you don't get paid.
- Can I change my bet?
- No.
- Why are bets hidden?
- Being able to see your league mates picks would be lame. You can't access their picks from the Community Bets page either. Once a game starts we make all the picks visible so you know who to root for.
- How long is the season?
- However long you want. Generally from the day you start through the playoffs. But if you want to do a week or a month, go for it.
- Is it too late to start?
- Never. You can start on Super Bowl Sunday if you want.
- Can I change my line?
- Yes, and you’ll want to adjust your line as you take bets. The goal is to get the same number of bets on each side to limit damage.
- How much can I bet?
- $2,500 per line.
- What if I go in the negative? Can I still play?
- Might get your legs broken, but yes! Why stop anyone from playing?
- The Vegas Money Lines are weird... Ravens +120 @ Patriots -130. Why are the odds different?
- To help with setting the line we've provided a "suggested line" (shout out to PinnacleSports.com). Notice how their +/-'s are different numbers? That's what we call "Vig" and it's how Sportsbooks make money. By offering lesser odds the book is much more likely to make money on any given game. Here at Fantasy Bookies the bets are direct, so there is no vig. Keep it all in the family.
